  1. This is a beautiful and poignant picture. We've had the most glorious summer here--not too much rain (amazing in Belgium!), not too hot, lots of sunshine. As we come to the end of summer and slide towards my favorite season, I'm feeling a little nostalgic about this summer...

  2. I'm a little sad to see summer's flowers fading. No amount of water will revive my once lovely flower pots.

    It's time for something new.

  3. That image speaks to me too, M. Thank you for sharing it.

Some parts of the garden are looking tired, as they usually do in August. But surprisingly the weather has been absolutely delightful these past few days, not blistering hot as it usually is at this time of year.

I hope you're enjoying the same. xo

  4. That should be printed and framed! It's beautiful and melancholy at the same time.

When my computer had to be reworked I lost all of my brushes and actions :(

Susan..I use textures with Flickr.. some are free to use.. no actions or brushes needed..I am a fan of the vintage feel and look of many of the textures that are offered.
Go play:)I did a kitchen one this week..and enjoy it~
I had wondered about this type of photo and had played with grunge brushes etc..but I prefer the textures now:)

  6. Monique, is that a Monet?

And why is it that people whose names start with an M, are always so darn artistic?

  8. Lovely photo, once again. Feels like a wildflower field in Switzerland so makes me want to go back.
