    I've kept every card recieved for years.
    Christmas cards also...
    some I've reused for mixed media art work.
    Recieving love cards daily for Dave now....such treasures.

  5. Handwritten cards are becoming a thing of the past. It's so exciting to open the mail box and find a handwritten note inside. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's like receiving a little present.

  8. It makes me so sad that everything is done by email or text these days. I adore cards and letters...so touching and personal.
    I went to a funeral this weekend and the sister of the deceased made two albums of all the cards her sister received. And presented them to her sons.

  10. I save them too! When my dad died we found every card we gave him in his desk drawer. All those spiritual bouquets cards from grade school. :)

  12. Monique, I'm one of those who keeps cards and personal notes too. I pity the one who will have to clean up my estate after I'm gone. But in the meantime, I'll continue this little habit because I revisit these handwritten notes again and again.
