However the botulism is news to me. I guess you learn something everyday. I know that chopping it is better than using a press, but sometimes I get lazy. This could solve that....I'll make sure to add lemon! When I'm really feeling lazy I use a garlic oil from O'Livier that I get in Paris. This could fill in for that, as well.<br /><br />The chick pea soup sounds and looks wonderful. Commercial products have been lab tested and verified for pH and processing procedures to ensure safety.
