Gorgeous cake, Monique. I love how moist apple cakes are.
ReplyDeleteHi Monique,
ReplyDeleteI've never made apple cake before, but made many an apple pie. This looks so delicious, that I must try. Adding to the lushiousness, is your pretty autumnal plate and flowers. Lovely!

Yours looks so much more lovely than mine!

Everything you cook is just beautiful. Your cakes always are so mouthwateringly moist and that is through the lens of a camera! We have just a few left from our tree. After Thanksgiving I will make something. I wish our Thanksgiving were in September. This is just a little hectic, no a lot hectic!
ReplyDeleteLovely cake, lovely apples and lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteAhh..the apples are a little bruised..like their photographer:) A little imperfect.. again like their photographer..etc..
ReplyDeleteBut nevertheless the cake is good.
I look forward to seeing all your holiday baking and gleaning ideas:)
I don't know how you do Thanksgiving and Christmas so close!
Ouf..I would be exhausted.
I love all the american..Thanksgiving movies:)And Christmas ones of course.
As they say..Keep Calm and Carry On:)
Honestly, it's beautiful. The fact that it is delicious as attested to by you, Linda and Dorie is an added benefit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely fall treat.
Best,
Bonnie
If there was a photo that looks like stained glass, it is your photo of the four apples and the way the light makes them glow. And thank you, I downloaded the recipe.
ReplyDeleteOoh la la such beautiful photos (not surprised, at all!)
