I've always lived on or near the water, Monique. Not always the ocean as I do now, but lakes or rivers as well. They all speak to me, but I can sit and watch the ocean for hours.

ReplyDeleteWe are so fortunate to have the shores of Lake Michigan nearby and we see the both the calm blue and violent crashing waves often. You wouldn't know it was a Great Lake and not an ocean for there is nothing to see on the horizon but water. No warm breezes and sea creatures, though :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the sea with me...I am listening to pouring rain come down now....I would rather be listening to the sea...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Monique!

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of you recently--I've discovered a Quebecoise singer, Linda Lemay. Her song 'Pas un mot' brings me to tears, and her "Maudites Francaises" makes me howl with laughter. You're lucky to have such a talent near you. A modern, female Jacques Brel?
Hugs to you from Belgium.
I enjoy Linda Lemay also~ We are fortunate to have many talented artists.
ReplyDeleteSea Creatures..I've spotted a manatee too..the gentle bears of the sea~
