Photos on our piano I cannot bring myself to change♥
This bread turned out well hope I can keep my starter alive..
I love candles this time of yr..my daughter picked 2 up for me..Feels decadent to light a three wicker w/ a pretty scent.
She says they last and last..she picked me up a Christmas one also:)
I still have these photos on our piano..I cannot bring myself to change them..yet one is 16 now♥
Anyone else?
Have a lovely week..
Take care~
The bread looks divine. I have a lot of photos from years ago that I can't change either. I have found some gorgeous scented candles from Aldi.
ReplyDeleteOlder photographs..candles💞wish we had Aldi!
DeleteThat bread looks amazing and your fall looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt’s pretty amazing💫Thank you
DeleteBeautiful…happy week love Ria 🧡🍁🍂🌻🍄🧡
ReplyDeleteAnd to you🙏
ReplyDeleteI have photos in my upstairs hall that are old, but oh, so sweet. Those darling little faces. I want to always remember them. Your bread looks amazing! And such wonderful blue skies!
ReplyDeleteI just can't bear the thought of not seeing them like that:)Have a great week!
DeleteYour photos are breath taking! My Mother used to say when pianos are no longer played they are meant for photos. I transported the piano I took lessons on to my home. My two grandsons come over and pretend to play. I have tried to teach them a few elementary songs but basically the piano holds many family photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week & happy baking
Hi Ga..my eldest daughter has the piano she learned on..it was my husband's parents..no one played there but I think his sisters may have had lessons..Very funny as all my gradsons have pretented to play on ours too..I taught them chopsticks and another little tune..all I ever knew..I don't play but we kept this piano..
DeleteWow, the bread is so impressive, kudos. Love seeing the fall photos. So vibrant and stunning shots. Your photos are so very special, no need to change them.
ReplyDelete🥰always so kind you are.
DeleteSplendid photos, Monique. You have mastered your new camera. I can't get enough of those wonderful, clear colors of your water and leaves--well, everything looks brilliant. Nope, I cannot remove family photos. I guess they etch themselves on my heart and I can't bear to thing of not seeing them. Some people believe there are rules for displaying family photos, but I break every one, lol. I enjoy being surrounded by my lovies and memories. Your loaf of bread looks almost too pretty to eat, but I'd love to try it!
ReplyDeleteMe too.I was a realtor for thirty years before such staging became le must..
DeleteI think I would say no staging if it meant removing memories.
Everything is a blank canvas now..which is great in essence but for me to live here without
All the memories would be painful🙂
Beautiful bread and gorgeous fall scenery! I love your neighbor's garage too :) Our back staircase going to the basement and garage is filled with photos of L & L at all ages :) I can't bring myself to take those down either. Love the sweet memories ♥ We light our Costco flickering wick candles every night now that it gets dark early. I only light the real candles when we have company - LOL.
ReplyDeleteI love the sweet memories too:) The Costco candels of course! But I restocked real ones and for some strange reason I feel like candlemaking..LOL one more hobby I need:)
DeleteYour dedication to the bread! A work of art. Love seeing the fall photos, and you already know it reminds me of our lake :-) No need to change the photos that bring you such joy.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Jacques would let me :) We both relive such memories in these photos:)
DeleteI love that you have photos you can't change! I do too -- there is something about those young faces and times past I can't let go. Meanwhile, your bread is exquisite --just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie..I can't let go either:):):)
DeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteFall is by far my favourite season, it's comfy, it's some sort of preparatory stage for home life since the weather is going more and more chill, but still offer gazillions opportunities to enjoy nature, the blushing trees, the mushrooms spurting here and there... It's also the path for my favourite period of the year: Christmas :) Beautiful pics as usual :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a preparation for for quieter indoor days. You put it beautifully.
DeleteI hope we can all celebrate Christmas en famille this yr.
Thank you.
Glorious photos and lovely food. You are not average. You have a gift and you should embrace it. Always a pleasure to visit and enjoy your lovely posts. Happy November.
ReplyDeleteYou truly live in a beautiful spot Monique. My father was there once. He took the ferry across with his motor home. He remembers it. Your photos are breathtaking. I loved seeing all the family photographs. Why do our babies have to grow up so quickly? It hardly seems fair. It is nice to have beautiful remembrances such as those photos once they are older. Nice to remember when they were small and cuddly. Like you, I am hoping for a more family type of Christmas this year. I know I have waited years and years to see most of mine, but I had really hoped to be able to see them all by now. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour bread is gorgeous!!
