Scrumptious Cookies~

If you are not quite in  "Chrsitmas baking" mode..  make these..
Once you have made them..sit down and have a cup of coffee or tea with them..
And maybe start your list of what to bake ..to offer..to keep..to share..

Nice way to spend a few November minutes warming the cockles of your heart.
I must be a blog taste tester.
I see pretty blogs..their treats..or meals look so appetizing..
they make me want to try them:)
Or some blogs make me want to sit and try painting or crafting :)
What would I do without everyone's inspiration?
Thank you everyone:)♥
These great little oatmeal chocolate chip cookies came from Mel's Kitchen Cafe~She calls them her favorite:)
I have sooo many faves..but I agree..these are on that list:)

La recette~

1 cup oatmeal(not quick)
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
 1 tsp salt
1 cup butter room temp
 11/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
 2 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup coconut
12 ozs semi-sweet chocolate chips (I used milk)

Pre heat oven to 350F
Place first 4 ings in a food processor and pulse until coarse about 30 secs.
In a bowl beat butter   until light in color about 30 secs and sugars   eggs and vanilla.... next add dry ings.. then coconut and choc chips..
Shape into balls place on  cookie sheet (I use parchment or a silicone mat) and..(I flattened mine a bit) ,,bake for 12-13 minutes.
Let the cookies cool slightly place on rack.

Really good!!

  5. I almost always have a cup of coffee or tea when I sit down to visit my favorite blogs. I wish I had one of those cookies. I'm about to go out in swirling snow for a haircut. I'm stopping by Starbuck's for a pumpkin spice latte to take with me.

    Best,
    Bonnie

  6. Lovely pictures.any kind of cookie is good at this time of year. But I'm trying to cut down on biscuits & cakes as I have a favorite skirt I like to wear at Christmas it looks good for any occasion, smart or casual with thick tights & boots , and I can't fasten the button :( So a little regime is necessary.

  8. I'm not baking cookies, but recently discovered an oatmeal cookie that is gluten free, no added sugar, and is only 44 calories per cookie. It's full of fiber too. I was surprised at how tasty they are. I buy them at our local market.
I can imagine that you need inspiration, Monique. I think of you as the inspirer!
Stay warm and cozy. I'd love to be sharing one of your cookies with a cup of hot tea.

    Gros bisous ♡

Haven't started thinking about Christmas baking yet - still have to get through Thanksgiving this week. We have the whole bunch this year. Fun for us. What a charming coffee maker and server!
