Pam' s Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies~And a GREAT new cookie stamp:)

I love when the moms send me pics:)Look at my little Oli in his "the Fonz " jacket..I know the toilet bowl cover is not really  what I like to see in a pic..lol..but it's reality♥He's actually combing his hair!
Gosh when all 4 will be teens..I will be watching them;)
Like I did their moms..we had funny chats about this last weekend..I totally embarrassed them on one occasion..ok or 2 or three:)

So many cookies nanas like to bake~

I was taken w/ Pam's soft peanut butter oatmeal cookies..and they won the stamp of approval..you can find Pam's recipe right here:)
Thanks Pam!

Also I wanted to tell you about some top quality stamps..I always say top quality when they are..you may remember quite a few sets:)
Not all are created equal though..
Nordic Ware rarely disappoints..
This is a kit of three stamps..I wanted to make sure the recipe would work..as stamps can be iffypickyquirky little things...

These are spot on..and here is the delish recipe..
So fun..no flouring anything..you just kind of press the stamp in the dough..to kind of grease it..then put is sugar then press your 20 Gram ball.

I made half the recipe:) Looks how clear it stamps..love the designs..little waffles..shells..a flower..
the dough even works well with plunger type cutters as Mr Minion is clearly demonstrating:)
They are rich..chocolatey..and the taste intensifies once melting in your mouth.
:)

Have a great weekend ..thawing here..

Did not think I would start seeds indoors..but I bought 2 packs from an organic gardener in my area..tomatoes..
"Dancing Smurfs" and "Stripes Of Yore"~

  1. I'll have to check out the cookie recipe. I'm supposed to bring dessert to a dinner this weekend and I was thinking of just making it easy and bringing oversized cookies and ice cream. This might be a good one!

  3. Oli's even combing product in his hair. My littles come over and don't even brush theirs on occasion. Cute cutters. One reminds me of a pinecone. I bet they love coming over to see what treats are there. As I've told you before, I cannot bake anymore as I have no willpower and will eat it all myself. Love the pics. I am starting some tomatoes today too. Hope they make it. They are as small as pearls and have a burst of flavor. It took me two years to find the seeds again.

  15. Oli looks adorable! Yes Frankie has only started to pay attention to his hair this year. Before that it was a long unruly mess. Why are you showing me more cookie presses? But they are pretty, especially the scalloped or pinecone pattern. I'll have to think about this. I did get the King Arthur shamrock one last year and they are pretty.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Not thin..because they become the depths of the waffles..at some places..and thinner at others..hard to explain..think of a real waffle..:)but so good..I wish I could send you one:)The chocolate happens as soon as the first bite melts.:)
Oli is so cute Ry..he really cares not at all what he wears and what his hair does..Lucas ..well that's a different story..
I bought Oli some new mittens this week..he told me all his mittens were wet..I dry them when he comes over..anyway..mommy said he was so proud of his new mittens♥

  22. I like the easy cookie recipe for the stamps....you must have a big collection by now! You are the cookie stamp kid. Will have to make them for tracy, my chocolate lover.
PB cookies: have always used a recipe from an old friend in the early 60's. very basic...think I have posted it on one of my blogs. Maybe the culinary bric a brac one. Always make those...with a glass of cold milk. ( and I never drink milk, so rarely have any!)
Adorable photo of Oli!! How cute is that? Fonz jacket...made me grin!
