Easter 2021 Still Covid~

When I look back on my blog and see all those danger exclamation marks..it still bothers me..

All hose lost posts..pics..Europe..celebrations..

I should have never used Google album photos..

I know hindsight..Hindsigh.

So I gather here and there and find more recent ones..

Looking back at some Easters..

For this journal of mine..this blog of mine.

I wish you all a Happy safe and healthy Easter♥

  1. Hope for next Easter that Covid will be gone for good, for you and your family. My sisters and all of our husbands have had the vaccine so we will be able to get together for East brunch.

  2. Monique, it is such a delight for me to see your images of past Easter celebrations. Your cookies, works of art!!! I have your Easter bunny painting you made me years ago, sitting on an easel. I save all of your little paintings. Treasures of my heart!
I know it is just you two, as we are here as well, but we will make the most of it and look toward Easter 2022 as a time to all be gathered around a table once again. I miss that!
    Happy Easter, dear friend!

  5. Hello Monique, just had a thought about your lost images, do you have those photos backed up on a hard disk? If so you could re-insert them, it would be labour intesive but you would have your posts back :-)

  7. Such happy memories and such sweet photos! We will be alone too this Easter too. It's probably a good thing right now so I don't overdo it for a while :) I know it's hard to have lost all of those photos. I lost one month of photos during a computer glitch a few years ago and am still angry. How are you saving your photos now? I back up all my photos to a 2 Terabyte external hard drive and they are saved to a Cloud drive also. Maybe an outdoor visit this Easter? Fingers crossed!

I have to..My photos are in My Pictures on my computer..I have to get to know Cloud..It was an awakening..I see like 70 comments back then and remember the good old days of blogging..We are facing a 3rd wave here of a variant and it's not pleasant..When I stop and think about it..I don't..I paint..sow seeds..bake..J has news on morning noon and night and it's not pretty..

Be it this pandemic..hate crimes..That Asian woman in NYC..:(:(:(
I hope they'll walk over..I am sure they will at one point out back..Take care dear Susan♥

  9. Happy Easter Monique! I have loved revisiting these photos of yours from Easter's gone by. I did not hear about the Asian woman in NRC, but then I don't have cable, just streaming on my laptop, so no real news. Maybe its better that way? I don't know! Stay safe and healthy! xoxo
PS - keep meaning to tell you that photo of you in your sidebar you remind me very much of my mother when she was young. So pretty.

  11. Each and every image, old and new, makes me smile big. Your beautiful family over time. Those fabulous painted cookies. Peter Rabbit and great joy. I was thinking that maybe you should get an external hard drive to back up your photos. I just did and I'm so relieved. They are only about $60, give or take, and you get a terrabyte for that, so you can back up things forever. It would be worth it, just to be safe.

I have an external hard drive..my pics are there, but where to start w/ 10 yrs of placed pics in posts? What goes where..There is only a danger sign where my pics were..

      It's OVERWHELMING..to get the pics back where they belong..Impossible actually.Hundreds of pics..hundreds..

  18. I know you have had your share of losses and heartaches, but you also have both the most beautiful--inside and out--family and the wisdom to appreciate it. ♥ Lovely pictures/captures, Monique. :) ♥ Better days have to be coming.
