Into July~

It's all about the gardens:) And Noah's 14th birthday..wow..14..unimaginable ..I keep repeating myself but time is whizzing by.

The thing I enjoy about photography ..is ..well one of the things I enjoy..is that sometimes the lens catches something you didn't..like that hovering wee creature above the zinnia..

Or all the lace patterns on a dragonfly's wings.
Have a very good coming week~

  5. I will echo all the previous comments, a big thank you, Monique for bringing us beauty. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they inspire me. Your clematis is amazing this year! And your zinnias are blooming. Mines are lagging behind, I think there might be a few tiny buds, and that gives me hope that there might be a blaze of zinnia color against the old fence sooner than later. Today we celebrate freedom in the states and yesterday was Canada Day for all our friends up north. May God help our great nations to do what is right to keep us free, and help other nations to do the same. Have a great week. BTW, I don't believe I've ever noticed the intricacy of a dragonfly's wing. Wow!

    1. These zinnias started as seeds in my basement and something is nibbling at them:( The good thing is I read giving them a haircut makes them branch out.A lot of rain so many clematis profusely blooming while some that are usually stellar are doing almost nothing..somethings up w/ that area as the tomatoes seem stunted too..Oh lala.Oh my every day not great stories from both our countries:( So sad..
Heres keeping hope for our countries and our zinnias:)

  8. Stunning clematis. I love the way you have them intertwined in the other plants. Is that a Jackmanii that is spilling over. Mine has only just started to open. My garden is way behind yours this year but I’m grateful that anything survived the extreme weather we had on the west coast in 2021.

  12. Just like this last week, time does fly! We had a wicked storm last night...maybe 2 inches of rain! We needed it. Luckily, we got in an entire round of golf before it happened. :) Happy Birthday to sweet Noah! We'll be there before I know what happened, I'm sure. Love, love, your beautiful garden and cute little creatures. The head planter looks so relaxed there - LOL.
