  4. Like Jeanie, I love this one. A painting speaks a thousand words. Right?
Take care and stay well. It's snowing here as I type. Won't stick, but it is pretty as it falls.

    1. I have no need to be out after 8 PM or before 5 AM..
The people that are saying their freedom is attacked..well I have a feww words for them.
A young nurse took her own life yesterday feeling overwhelmed ..
      They just don't get it.
Like the people I see..(not here I have not) that argued to NOT wear a mask in stores w/ employees.
Numbers are very high here..has to be someones fault..
And they say it's in homes..socialiazing etc.
      Why did my family Zoom?
Honestly..they should be arrested and work in hospitals.
      That's my take.

    2. We have a local ant-mask faction...They are bullies, narcissists. But they are a minority. J's grandaughter caught the virus, she's 21, was working at a restaurant that held an eating, drinking party. Those establishments should have been shut down all along. I hope you and your family are well and safe, apart from the restrictions...

    3. We are.. The littlest goes back to school today yet everything is shut down..
Rio.. les reportages sont époustoufflants..plages bondées..la Floride aussi..
La situation est aussi inquiétante qu'en Mars sinon plus..
I do hope she is well again.

  6. Your painting is quiet, poetic, in contrast to the former "boistrous" activities of kids...It's lovely. I do feel for young people...We had hoped it would be over by now...

  10. Such a bittersweet painting. Our grandkids have lost out on such many wonderful activities. Several government officials who were present the day of the riots have tested positive because they were sheltering in place in a room with Republicans who refused to wear masks. What kind of example are they to the people when they refused to wear them in a the United States Capitol building? OY!

    1. Because of everything going on with your election etc..that's what we hear about here..I was curious as to your Covid cases..and it's bad there too yet people are partying:(Why do people rebel when it is proven that people are dying. The vaccines are slow to come..
One good news..I live in a small town that for some things is part of a brader muti municiaplity area..I was happy to read that every single extended care patient has been vaccinated..That's the first good news..Jacques will be in group 5 I am probably in 10..oy.I wish teachers were in 1.Poo Oli back in school mask ALL day even in class..the big boys too but geesh..Oli.
I have seen videos of people arguing to NOT wear a mask entering somewhere..spoiled brats.
That scene at The Capital..brought tears to my eyes..Can you believe we were told to NOT see our families..to not travel and yet certain members of parliament DID!!!!?

  11. I feel your frustration and sadness, Monique. At least you don't have a monster running your government and people...please say a prayer for the US.

  12. Its very frustrating that people don't get it. Just do what you are asked people. Then we can all get out of this sooner. Its like two steps forward three steps back all the time! I love your wee painting of the boys. I feel sad for my grandchildren and this weird world they are being asked to live in. What a tale they will have for their grandchildren! xoxo
