  1. The bread looks divine. I have a lot of photos from years ago that I can't change either. I have found some gorgeous scented candles from Aldi.

  5. Your photos are breath taking! My Mother used to say when pianos are no longer played they are meant for photos. I transported the piano I took lessons on to my home. My two grandsons come over and pretend to play. I have tried to teach them a few elementary songs but basically the piano holds many family photos.
Have a good week & happy baking

  7. Splendid photos, Monique. You have mastered your new camera. I can't get enough of those wonderful, clear colors of your water and leaves--well, everything looks brilliant. Nope, I cannot remove family photos. I guess they etch themselves on my heart and I can't bear to thing of not seeing them. Some people believe there are rules for displaying family photos, but I break every one, lol. I enjoy being surrounded by my lovies and memories. Your loaf of bread looks almost too pretty to eat, but I'd love to try it!

    1. Me too.I was a realtor for thirty years before such staging became le must..
I think I would say no staging if it meant removing memories.
Everything is a blank canvas now..which is great in essence but for me to live here without
All the memories would be painful🙂

  8. Beautiful bread and gorgeous fall scenery! I love your neighbor's garage too :) Our back staircase going to the basement and garage is filled with photos of L & L at all ages :) I can't bring myself to take those down either. Love the sweet memories ♥ We light our Costco flickering wick candles every night now that it gets dark early. I only light the real candles when we have company - LOL.

  11. Fall is by far my favourite season, it's comfy, it's some sort of preparatory stage for home life since the weather is going more and more chill, but still offer gazillions opportunities to enjoy nature, the blushing trees, the mushrooms spurting here and there... It's also the path for my favourite period of the year: Christmas :) Beautiful pics as usual :)

  13. You truly live in a beautiful spot Monique. My father was there once. He took the ferry across with his motor home. He remembers it. Your photos are breathtaking. I loved seeing all the family photographs. Why do our babies have to grow up so quickly? It hardly seems fair. It is nice to have beautiful remembrances such as those photos once they are older. Nice to remember when they were small and cuddly. Like you, I am hoping for a more family type of Christmas this year. I know I have waited years and years to see most of mine, but I had really hoped to be able to see them all by now. xoxo
