Frédérick ..aka Fred always walked the boys to the bus in the morning and when home picked them up at bus too..Little darlings are now big darlings:)
Fall can be glorious.. more in the sun I find though..Shimmering palettes.
We were able to get together for CDN Thanksgiving for a few hours out back.
Everyone brought a charcuterie board.
I made two bread contributions because I just love baking bread.
The first is Rock Recipes no knead..I seem to have this one on repeat.
Anyone can make this bread.I love how it holds together so well.
The other..the pull aparts were a flash from the past..
Steakhouse black bread..You can make it in the bread machine..shape refrigerate..take out the next day..let rise..BAKE.
Like Outback's..honey butter is a great match.
Both were suggested to me by T..who Instagrammers like me know:)
Watching a few series we enjoy..the first me..Jacques is not interested.
MAID Andie McDowell and her talented daughter Margaret Qualley star. Netflix.I love it.
American Rust ..Crave..
Call The Midwife is back♥PBS
Grantchester.PBS
Baptiste..about to start..PBS Season 2.
Scenes from a Marriage. Great acting..Crave.
The Sinner
And this weekend The Great Canadian Baking Show starts.
It's dark at 7 here..need TV at night.Not day.
In this last watercolor book Canson I have 1 page left..not sure what Paris People it will be..
Have a lovely week~

Thank you..I love yours.Elegance and charm.
DeleteI am finding myself watching a little bit of TV now that it is getting dark earlier. I'll check out some of your favorites. Love the pic of Fred and the little darlings.
ReplyDeleteThose were the days💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
DeleteYou are surrounded by such beauty!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to those PBS shows every Sunday night. I enjoyed watching Ted Lasso.
I've heard s much about it! I may have to watch alone:)
DeleteAutumn is looking beautiful where you live. Your breads look so good!
ReplyDeleteBreads are so encouraging for the home baker..so many easy ones that can kickstart a nice hobby!
DeleteOh my goodness, the beauty of fall is embracing your home, Monique. Absolutely beautiful pictures. Perhaps Mother Nature's last big hurrah before winter. Loved the picture of your guys, too. I'm not the best photographer, but I appreciate those who know when to push the button to capture a moment. Saving your bread recipes--they sound wonderful--thanks for giving us the links. Your Paris people should be bound in a memory book for your grands. They're lovely. Hoping you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks you Pam! Yes it's the last hurrah..lots of fallen leaves now..would like a full sun day to go take a few more photos..never enough fall..too much winter lol:)
DeleteRegarding the Rock Recipes bread..they can be baked from a cold oven start point no need (Knead lol) to worry about hot heavy pots that could burn you!
You've captured the beauty of October in your photos. It's such a lovely time of the year, and a great season for spending time in the kitchen baking. Your breads look delicious.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lorrie!I would love it to last longer and for winter to be shorter😊
DeleteYour Canadian autumn is lovely. I enjoy these photos, Monique. We don't get the color here in Austin. The most color we see is the trees turn golden. That's pretty too, but a different look. Your boards were a great idea. Happy your family celebrated together. We will likely be just the two of us for Thanksgiving. Traditionally we host a group, but obviously not the last two years, and will not this year.
ReplyDeleteI know your TG will be perfect. You wll make it so:)♥♥
DeleteLove your pumpkin fairy, dear Monique, and all other autumn inspired beauty.

Thank you..it's fun to see how all our areas are so different..Take care..
DeleteLove your photos. The autumn photos are spectacular. How darling the little fairy is with the pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteFeona:) She's a charmer;)Have a good week Linda!
DeleteI love all of the colorful trees in your beautiful area! The pumpkin fairy. ♥ Our trees just aren't as striking this year for some reason, most likely the dry, dry summer. I recognize the cart path :) John and I played golf yesterday (75F) and will play again tomorrow. (71F). The last of the nice weather this week and then down we go. All of your breads look so delicious! The black bread and honey butter - oh my! ♥ I didn't know Call the Midwife was back! Yay! And Grantchester, love that one too, so does John. The others we don't get and I never heard of Crave. Maid sounds so good!
ReplyDeleteIf I golfed fall would be my favorite time..not too hot..the landscape..nature..so pretty.Perhaps I should read in the evening but I love being totally distracted..and a few shows do that for me.
DeleteI seem to never stop..lol ask J.. however Im never bored..tv at night for about 2 hrs turned into a habit..:)He enjoys it too..
I loved the other vicar far more ..on Grantchester..Have a good week!x
Your autumn photos -- biggest wow! We have practically nothing down here. Surprising, because up-north was so bright two weeks ago. We just have loads of green. Loving your beautiful breads (the charcuterie boards are a great idea!) and of course you paintings. And that pumpkin and fairy are adorable. This is my happy spot. I save it for the moments I'm most down. Thank goodness for the Midwife and Grantchester!
ReplyDeleteI think you would love MAID.
DeleteUnforgettable.
You nevr get down!! You are happy happy happy!!
I am one who is blessed to have one of your sweet Paris People. It is on permanent display here like all your paintings. You are so talented. Of course I have seen most of your photos on IG, and love them there, but that photo of Fred with the boys is such a precious treasure to have. Family is everything isn't it. I despair that I was so far away for most of my grandchildren's growing up years, and now Covid is stealing the remainder of them from me. I love your autumn photos. You take such beautiful photographs of everything. I love Maid and of course all of the shows you mentioned. I have the Marriage one bookmarked to watch and am now going to add the Rust one to my list on your recommendation! The nights are really beginning to draw in now so yes, more television viewing is going to take place! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYes it's dark so early and I welcome the diversion..wish I read as much as I did but my mind wanders.
DeleteI hate what covid has done Marie:(
Happy you are all snuggled into your pretty new home!
Beautiful fall photos! xo
ReplyDeleteIt is very late this year and no frost yet:)
