She sells seashells down by the seashore..
Shellfish.. hard to beat.. we enjoy it so much..one way we enjoy preparing it is simply in a cazuela..with garlic and EVOO..some herbs..chili peppers, and white wine if you wish..
9-10 mins at 400 in the oven..
Add your cooked pasta and twirl..The dish stays hot and delicious..
The quickest pasta dish in our kitchen..
I add Parmigiano..and crushed croûtons..I know I know.. many people don't like shrimp and cheese but we do..
Did you notice..not even a recipe?

Oh, this is a dish for me! I love every little bit of it and it looks divine!
ReplyDeleteall those shells, in ca even, lucky you! i love dinners like this, i was just thinking this morn how tasty this might be, thanks for pushing me off the fence! too bad i don't fall into the sea...
ReplyDeleteWe like it with the cheese too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a delicious dish!
This must be the archetypal shrimp and pasta dish. Delicioso!
ReplyDeleteAnd I like knowing we also share a love for seashells. But, of course. I don't know how, but, I still believe we're twins.
Des photos superbes, une recette toute simple mais tellement délicieuse, ta collection de coquillages est magnifique
ReplyDeleteBone soirée
anything goes, monique. that looks really yummy, even if I would be more shy to try parmesan and shrimps.
ReplyDeletePasta and shrimp - is there anything better?? (Not today!) :D
ReplyDeleteSave me some!
ReplyDeleteL~xo
Those seashells make my heart skip a beat!
ReplyDeleteMe too ~ I would add Parmesan and crushed croûtons, too. It's that little extra touch that makes the dish magnificent, imo.
C'est beau, Mme!!
I don't have one of those dishes -- but the shrimp and pasta! Looks delicious! And my kind of "comfort food" --
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous seashells! Our shrimp truck from Galveston was in town yesterday for the last time of the season. We love crustaceans too and what a delightful dish - Delicious!
ReplyDeleteLooks beautiful Monique...one of my favourite meals..pasta with some seafood. Beautiful shells and seafood by the sea...hope the weather is fantastic and I don't even have to ask if you're having fun!!
ReplyDeleteRonelle
Beautiful pictures. Your pasta looks so delicious. Nice and simple. The best dishes don't require recipes :)
ReplyDeletethis looks great. and i really love the idea in general of doing a sauce in a clay pot in the oven and then tossing in the pasta - because done the 'normal' way, pasta always gets cold too fast!
ReplyDeleteHello..and thanks for dropping by..it's always nice to see friendly names:) Bonne Soirée..
ReplyDeleteOh this looks so good, Monique. It reminds me of shrimp with spaghetti that I had in Ville Franche... yes, shrimp and cheese!
ReplyDeleteNon... no mail yet :( Hoping tomorrow, sweet friend.
xo~Tracie
Beautiful seashells by the way :)
ReplyDeleteMonique that shot of garlic is one of the nicest I've seen. The pictures in this are soft and warm. It makes me wonder what lense you're shooting with.
ReplyDeleteLaura
Monique, do you collect sea shells? :) I love seafood like you do, and I could never say no to shrimps and cheese! This is your fastest pasta dish in the kitchen? Are you talking about the cooking or the eating? ;) I did notice the absence of a recipe ... did you notice I didn't have one either on my Tofu Puffs post? LOL! The best and tastiest dishes are all made by using our senses, aren't they? :) Ju
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!the lens for the 3 soft photos is the Canon 55-250 Zoom.. Not a well lit room..sun going down through the back window.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were "fluffy"and not clear... but for lack of any good shots and still wanting to talk to everyone I just did it:)
Ju I did notice and cannot wait to get to my favorite Asian shot..I thought my little pork dumpling filling might be good and my children love that kind of food:)
Have agreat day..
What lovely seashells you have Monique! and the pasta is so simple too...simple things are the best things it seems..loving the photo shots. AS always :)
ReplyDeleteUn plat pour moi mais je ne mettrai pas de parmesan, juste de l'huile d'olive...
ReplyDeleteJ'aime beaucoup tes realisations et tes photos sont supernes, bonne soiree Doria
ReplyDeleteSeriously, there are people that don't like shrimp and cheese?
ReplyDeleteMonique...again a smile from me. I am in Naples, Florida for a long weekend, and acquired some lovely shells I wanted to use with a shrimp post!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics...I'm glad Laura asked...I wondered also.
Thanks and enjoy your day.
Diane
Love the shell photos....and the pasta looks good too
