My friend has offered me this beautiful blue hydrangea for Easter~
It's brightening Easter weekend so much~
It arrived at the door today..Good Friday~ Vendredi Saint~
I placed it in the kitchen..until I know where the table setting is going..by the lovely light in our kitchen..~
It took but moments for a resident Spring ladybug to take pleasure in climbing all the hydrangeas petals~
How such tiny things scale such huge obstacles..:) Is mesmerizing~
I almost felt like I was experiencing parts of a book I read..
The Sound Of A Wild Snail Eating..while examining it~
She was so adept.. so inquisitive..so agile..so lovely~
It was charming for me to observe her journey today amidst some chaos :)~
I can imagine that vacationing in a land of blue such as she was doing..
Had to be such a pleasant experience~
♥
A great Good Friday sighting for me~In the simplest of forms..in a most beautiful form~
Joyeuses Pâques~

You had a little bitty vacation there :)
Happy Easter, Monique!
How amazing that this little creature is living at this still chilly time of year but how fortunate for you she chose your home to visit so you could capture her with your lens and share it with us. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you, your family and charming little creature, Monique :)
Lovely, both the hydrangea and the ladybug. Happy Easter to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteBest,

Happy Easter to you as well, beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteSarah said it . . . exquisite. Loved this from beginning to end. A feast for the eyes and mind. I am now imagining what it would be like to holiday in a place so blue. Just wonderful. Happy Easter Monique! I know it will be special. xxoo
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that people who hate bugs love ladybugs? I got some this winter (they were to have been used for a movie but weren't) and put them on the herb pots I brought in. They were around for a while and then disappeared ;( While they were around, I loved watching them. They are really beautiful on that blue and must have been terribly happy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you!
What a charming way to wake up! You have a way with words and the eye of an artist, Nana. Joyful Easter to you and your family!

The Monet is wonderful. And, I did not know a hydrangea and a lady bug could make me smile. Thank you.
