Those little pomegranate arils just glow like little jewels, don't they? I'm glad you loved the dish as much as I did!!
ReplyDeleteI did Lori..thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThe colours in that dish are so vibrant. As Lori said, "little Jewels".
ReplyDeleteI know I've told you often, but I love your photos.
Monique, thanks for sharing on the Saturday Blog Showcase. ~Ann
A beautiful dish, indeed! Pretty petite rubies shimmering in the dish. Does it get dark very early, Monique? I would like to make a dish with pomegranates too. Perhaps when they are in season ... they are quite expensive here in Singapore. Your photo IS a good shot. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnother foodie who just *happened* to have pomegranate molasses in the pantry*????? You gals amaze me! :-p
ReplyDeleteI am dying to try this recipe, just from the mouth watering photos I've seen & the delicious descriptions.
Excuse me.....I have to go grocery shopping. ------ >>>>

ReplyDeleteSuch a delightful combination of colors, and healthful, too. I want to make this too thanks you you and Lori.

The picture was perfect... it had the immediacy of the moment... looks so inviting... no wonder it flew off the plate.. how I love pomegranate molasses... brilliant idea to pair it with avocado!!!

Your pictures always look so yummy! I am glad you stopped by, I went to look at my blog again and half of the writing was missing..... I had put credit to you for my cookies (even though my almonds are upside down) and it wasn't there. I redid it so you can see, I also put that the bunny was from Lori Ann at Spotted Hare......
ReplyDeleteWhat are you doing in the office today? Go, go relax, I am baking a chocolate cake.....may post later, I forgot to take pictures though!!!!
Cheers,
Margaret B
Monique, this is gorgeous. Thanks for the link--I've bookmarked this recipe. Amazing flavors!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a great eye for spotting really beautiful dishes! You're right - the pomegranates shine like jewels and how about that gorgeous pecan tart!
ReplyDeletePomegranate molasses is a staple! I also love it with pork. But don't you hate it! I get it all ready and am famished so would rather eat than take pics.
ReplyDeleteI also like pom juice concentrate.. nothing beats the real thing..but these little condiment/syrups are real flavor enhancers~
Maureen..My office is open all weekend and we have turns manning the office..:)
Your almonds never looked upside to me isn't that funny?
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. They were perfect to me.
