Will love..
And I did..
It was posted in 2011!
You can find the delicious White Bean And Mushroom Soup recipe here.
I apologize for not retyping and adding links..but since Blogger changed last yr..I have been unable to copy and paste without thick white distracting lines..Must be my dark charcoal background.
I tried..because I know FG needs a recipe..And I thought it was fun to FG..but my Blogger just cannot do it..
I'm not going to stop sharing :) So thanks for your understanding~
Back to the soup..Roasting the Mushrooms..Onions..Garlic and herbs..just puts this little hearty soup in a different mushroom soup category..
I had white navy beans(sounds so oxymoronish)..so I used those.. and I drained them.. :) Had to.. force of habit..the rest..the same.
Hope you try it.
One of my daughters..the one who actually PInned this first:).. did and loved it also..next time she is adding more mushrooms..me too:)
I love that raccoon.
He's just the most perfect pet raccoon you could ever have.
It's that time of year again..
My outdoor plants bid me ADIEU..
My indoor plants bid me BONJOUR~
The Christmas Cacti..Whites..Pale Pinks..Dark Pinks and Corals~
They light up my life..
Not like my pet raccoon at all..
and no..he would not eat that soup..
But nevertheless..
The indoor plants..ease the transition..from Abundance..to none..indoors~♥
Easiest bloomin'plants to grow indoors!
Have a great weekend~
Can you tell it's chilled up here?
The soup proves it:)

Enjoy the weather..Sarah I will be curious to know if your favourite chef drains his beans..both my daughter and I hate the liquid they come in..I just pulsed more beans to thicken nicely.
DeleteThat soup looks so inviting in this cold night! I will make it this weekend, i have mushrooms that need to be used. We will have our first frost tonight...i just ran outside and picked the last of my tiny tomatoes...some of them green. That little raccoon looks so cuddly and cute...would love to hug him!

Oh, delicious! I love your description of the fond goodbye to the outdoor flowers, and bonjour to the indoor plants - in my case, several pink geraniums and two rosemary plants. Not enough sunny windows for much more. Nana - we are getting snow on Sunday! - so I assume you will get it before me, give or take a few hours. Time to find the wool socks:)
ReplyDeleteOh I've found the wool socks:-)

Lovely to have a new way for making mushroom soup , I too always rinse my beans to get rid of that gloopy stuff, and would blend a few to make it thicker.

I t has been years since I have bought a plate Marie:)
DeleteYrs ago we could go to a Chrsitmas Tree Shop in Burlington Vermont..loved the drive..and the store had fun items..(not Christmas except at Christmas)..for such great prices..as in $0.99 a plate for quirky little ones..The stores were sold..and things were never the same in that shop..so we have not returned..I worked back then..
And ..well my mom's things.. and 40 yrs of marriage.. you tend to save things.
You always say such nice things Marie..you know I have learned so much from you and my husband apprecitaes every meal or dessert he has eaten gleaned from you:)
Thank you.
