I spied..w/my eyes..a lovely Apple bread and decided the weather was perfect to make it~
It just looked like the beginning of fall to me..
It's very good and the caramel glaze on top does not hurt one bit~
It's apple picking time here so I thought I would share with you~
The recipe is originally from Betty Crocker but I found it here..Her photo did it for me..
The only thing I did differently was add cardamom.:)

ReplyDeleteSpeaking about lenses, I don't really know what people use... Most blogger have a 50mm lens, but others also have macro lenses.

Fall has definitely arrived in New England. I'll be picking apples as soon as I return to New Hampshire. This bread sounds like something I must try.
ReplyDeleteMonique, great minds must think alike! I had found that same recipe and printed it out to make sometime soon. WE are two peas in a pod I think! I am a bit slow to visit this week. Life has suddenly gotten very busy. Hoping it will settle down soon. I miss the farm markets this time of year when they are filled with apples and pumpkins . . . oh the smell, colours and sight. So heart warming. I have captured a bit of that from your lovely photos today. Thanks so much for all of the lovely things you share with us. Love to you always. Bises xxoo
ReplyDeleteWow, this cake looks incredible - I love the caramel icing! I'm definitely looking forward to baking with apples again throughout Autumn.
