Not for the faint of fat~
Can you see where this is leading?
I won't even put the nutrition information..
Let's just say I had a sweetie who was celebrating a birthday and I had decided to make this for the cake~You're only 33 once~
The Toblerone Cheesecake~
La Recette..
1-1/4 cups Oreo Baking Crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
3 pkg. (250 g each) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 bar (100 g) Toblerone Swiss Milk Chocolate, coarsely chopped
HEAT oven to 350ºF.
MIX crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Pour over crust.
BAKE 40 to 45 min. or until centre is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours. Spread caramel topping over cheesecake just before serving. Garnish with chopped chocolate.
Eat at your own risk~:)I barely licked the knife(ves) used to cut it..:)~As to me..the best part was the topping:)
Ahhh..Toblerone~♥

cannot imagine anything better.
ReplyDeleteOh man! this cheesecake is up there with my birthday cheesecake. It's funny how I detest nuts, but I tolerate them when I eat Toblerone. In fact, I love Toblerone so much, I've never noticed that the name of the chocolate is engraved/etched in the bar itself until I saw your first photo haha!
ReplyDeleteThis cheesecake looks AMAZING!! I will have to create another birthday for me just so I can make this haha.
Il y a des informations qu'il vaut mieux ignorer, en effet ! Mais là recette, elle valait bien le coup d'être publiée ! ;o)

Oh Monique! Toblerone was always in my Nonno's desk drawer. I will have to make the sacrifice to our arteries and make this in his memory
