Soul Food #44

Until the gardens wake up~

The only florals here are in fabrics..and gifts~

I made another Amy Butler bag~It's my favorite so far~The mini accessory is for Kleenex:) I enjoy making them~..But more when I have an idea..I think any of you who have a sewing machine would like to make them also:) The roses were from a friend at Valentines~

The Textures are Thanks to Joe Sistah~

“Give her two red roses, each with a note. The first note says For the woman I love and the second, For my best friend..”

The Ephemera..from one of my links I have shared before..and the Iron On Fabric from Avery for the Ephemera~

The bags are reversible.. and there's a canvas/ fabric middle part also..I used a blue floral for the canvas invisible part..as I ran out of neutral..the beauty? It's invisible..it's like a stiffener...I forget the word..Interfacing maybe?

:)

** I find these bags great for the grocery store.. just a few items:)Nothing leaky of course..But dry goods~ And bulb saving:)Or just hanging around on a pretty hook somewhere~ ~

  14. Monique, this is one of those things I consider a hyacinth for the soul. It is truly lovely just hanging on a hook or used for some purpose. I like the idea of storing bulbs in these. It would certainly add a creative touch to one's potting shed.
Thank you for sharing. I like the idea of your Soul Food posts. I'm so happy I've found your blog!!!

  22. Lovely, lovely bag...there is magic in whatever you touch. I have never used the label, but am going to explore that idea. I just made a bag to hold a friend's birthday present. I used stamps and fabric paint. I didn't have time to take a pic since I finished it the night before I gave it to her ;-) I'll make another and share.
